Cadbury World unveils won-deer-ful Christmas creation

Seasonal fun comes to Bournville.

Weighing in at over 11 stone, Cadbury World’s chocolatiers have revealed a fantastically festive chocolate creation to celebrate the arrival of the attraction’s Christmas Celebration Weekends.

Inspired by one of the characters found on Cadbury selection boxes, yule be surprised to hear that 70kg of milk and white chocolate went into bringing Santa’s favourite reindeer to life.

Made from the equivalent of 1,555 bars of Cadbury Dairy Milk, the jolly reindeer was expertly crafted by two of Cadbury World’s chocolatiers, Donna Oluban and Dawn Jenks, over the space of just two days.

Red lustre and edible glitter have been used to give the reindeer’s nose an extra twinkle and help him lead the way through the dark winter evenings, whilst his ‘knitted’ striped scarf and matching mittens will protect him from the cold. The reindeer’s crowning glory is his impressively large antlers which have been hand-piped to precision to support their own weight.

Taking a break from sleigh-pulling duties, the creation will be on display in Cadbury World’s Chocolate Making Zone throughout the festive season – you’d be rude-olph not to visit!

Elsewhere at the attraction, as part of the Christmas Celebration Weekends, a brand-new pantomime invites families on an enchanting quest as the story of Aladdin comes to life live on stage in Cadbury World’s outdoor marquee. Expect a rags to riches tale and a whole new world of interactive fun with a chocolatey twist. Pantomime shows are every Saturday and Sunday starting from 18th November, plus performances every day on 21st–23rd December and 27th–30th December.

In between checking his lists, Santa will also be making a visit Cadbury World to entertain families with his very own stage show. With a bag full of presents, there’s a gift for every child – making a visit to the exclusive Cadbury World Santa Show top of everyone’s Christmas list. Be sure to catch Santa every weekend from 18th November plus performances every day on 21st 3rd December before he flies off for his Christmas duties.

The on-site chocolatiers will also be working harder than elves in a toyshop, crafting beautiful handmade treats and gifts that are perfect to go under the tree, including everyone’s favourite handmade chocolate penguin. These will be available in The World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop, alongside other much-loved seasonal products.

For the perfect finish to your festive Cadbury World visit, pop into the Cadbury Café to enjoy a hot chocolate and some rocky road, or why not treat you and your family to a traditional Christmas lunch for just £24.95.

Both the pantomime and Santa show are included in the Cadbury World admission price. For more information and to save 5% on your tickets to Cadbury World, visit www.cadburyworld.co.uk.
