Spanish, German and English for Work courses launched by The Language Gallery.
A set of new evening courses has been launched by The Language Gallery in Birmingham. Students and workers in the second largest UK city will have the opportunity to improve their language skills, with a range of courses looking at the growing European labour markets.
The evening programmes present a choice between English for Work, German and Spanish. The programmes appeal to a variety of people, focused on enhancing their general language skills or for the workplace. English for Work is a detail-oriented course: with CV writing and interview skills, useful vocabulary and conversation tips, this course gives learners the tools they need to plan the future steps in their career.
TLG also launched Spanish and German programmes in Birmingham, following the positive response in London and Manchester. These courses approach two of the most influential languages in mainland Europe, with the economies in these countries open to new talents. The programmes aim to equip learners with the language skills they need to make the most of the opportunities made accessible through the knowledge of a foreign language.
Lea Aylett, Academic Director of TLG, explained how this choice aims to support those who can’t opt for full-time study solutions: “Flexibility has always been one of our strong points. Our evening classes are designed for people who work during the day or can’t commit to an intense series of lessons, and are shaped to maximise the time at their disposal.”
The evening classes add to the wide range of programmes currently available at TLG Birmingham, including General English, IELTS exam preparation and the University Pathway Programme. The next intake for the evening courses will start from Tuesday 31st October. Details can be found here
