New name, new sponsor for Food, Drink and Hospitality Awards

City university added to sponsor roll.

The Midland Food, Drink and Hospitality Awards have announced Birmingham City University as sponsors for this year’s event.

The MFDH, in association with headline sponsor Pepsi Max, aims to recognise and reward the very best of the food and drink and hospitality sectors within the Midlands. From restaurants to bars to cafes, the MFDH will celebrate all those who push boundaries within the sector, offering stellar service, menus and settings.

The MFDH was originally known as the BFDH, Birmingham Food, Drink and Hospitality Awards, which celebrated the best in Birmingham food hospitality. However due to such success and immense demand, the awards ceremony has expanded in size to incorporate the Midlands in its entirety. Some of the biggest brands in and around the whole Midlands will be attending the awards, including restaurants, eateries, cafes, bars, pubs and more.

In addition to Pepsi Max and fellows sponsor Pathway Group, the MFDH will be sponsored by the renowned Birmingham City University. BCU is one of the most popular universities in the country, boasting a diverse and multicultural student body and iconic campus buildings all around Birmingham. The awards will be taking place on the 26th June 2017 at Edgbaston Stadium, Birmingham.

Nominations are open so if you would like to nominate yourself or know of someone else that deserves to be nominated, you can do so via the website. Closing date is Friday 28th April 2017.
