The customer is always wrong

Top comedian adds Sutton Coldfield date.

Fresh from a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Festival, award-winning comedian Jo Caulfield comes to The Comedy Junction, Sutton Coldfield with The Customer is Always Wrong on Saturday 12th November.

From arguments in shops and being insulted in a nightclub to trying to reign in her husband’s increasingly alarming get-rich-quick schemes, a lot can go wrong in everyday life as award-winning comedian Jo Caulfield has discovered…

Fresh from an acclaimed run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Jo is heading out across the UK “I’ve chosen towns that I’ve enjoyed visiting before and have had a nice time – largely to point out to the people there that the rest of the world isn’t as nice as they are, ” she explains.

With 30 dates confirmed for the first leg of the tour, Jo will be spending a lot of time on the road. As a busy touring comedian that she’s encountered a lot of bad – and down right weird – customer service, some of which forms the inspiration for this show.

“I’m not a huge fan of the overly friendly customer service that seems to be the norm nowadays,” she confesses, “but some of the run-ins I’ve had this year have made me nostalgic for that faux friendliness – I’m still not sure how I managed to end up having a massive argument in a shop as the result of trying to buy new boots, but I’ll be talking about that in the show! I’ll also be talking about how a late night drink with a friend ended up with me paying £25 for a lap-dance. It’s been a strange 12 months.”

Audiences can expect razor-sharp observations and scandalous one-liners as Jo contemplates everything from relationships to Hollywood movies.

If you’ve ever been made to feel in the wrong when you’re pretty sure you were right – or have had to stop your husband trying to kidnap cats – this is the show for you. And if you don’t agree, then maybe it’s you that’s wrong…
