Fundraising bid to produce more of Black Country sitcom.
Caitlin and Caroline Moran have launched #savethewolves – a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for new episodes of the critically acclaimed comedy Raised By Wolves.
After a successful #upthewolves online campaign in August, Caitlin and Caroline decided to launch a campaign on Kickstarter, the world’s largest crowdfunding platform, to fund brand new episodes. The pair are asking fans fund at least one new episode to give the world a further slice of Aretha’s misanthropy, Grampy’s complicated love-life, Germaine’s sexual awakening, and Della’s Ripley-from-Aliens-in-CostCo parenting.
The campaign’s initial goal is to fund one episode with future episodes determined on funds raised and partners sought. The campaign asks fans to fund their campaign and offer rewards from £5 to £5000, with reward incentives including extra roles, VIP premiere tickets and the Crack on with Tuesday collectible mug set including DVD and download. Fans can also get their name in credits and get to visit their favourite characters on set. Executive Producer credits are also up for grabs. If successful, all participants who make donations over £20 will receive a Digital HD download of the first special episode of Raised By Wolves 3.
The production will also offer the opportunity for two paid internships for the first special episode and the full series if it is funded. A writer internship with Caitlin and Caroline will offer one applicant the chance to see the process of how a sitcom is written from beginning to end. The second will offer a offer a dedicated production role, working hands-on with the team for the duration of pre-production and production. Applicants can apply through the official website.
