Christmas celebration weekends at Cadbury World

It’s never too early to make holiday plans.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year at Cadbury World, as pantomime fun and festive cheer return with the arrival of the attraction’s Christmas Celebration Weekends next month.

The hunt to find who fits Cinderella’s glass slipper comes to Cadbury World, as the exclusive pantomime returns for a sixth year. With Prince Charming, best friend Buttons (not the Cadbury kind!) and the Chuckle Bean Fairy Godmother for company, the classic fairy tale guarantees giggles for the whole family, with its own chocolatey twist. The curtain goes up on November 19th, with shows every Saturday and Sunday, before a final three shows on December 20th – 22nd, just in time for Christmas.

To celebrate the arrival of the popular panto, Cadbury World’s chocolatiers have been working their very own magic on a specially-made Cinderella-themed chocolate creation.

Made from a combination of white and milk chocolate, and finished with a sprinkling of gold lustre, the creation features an intricately hand-piped carriage, ornate doors, pumpkins, mice, autumn leaves and a beautiful glass slipper.

The creation took two chocolatiers two days to make and weighs in at an impressive 30kg. The stunning hand-made creation will be on display in Cadbury World’s Chocolate Making Zone from November 1st until December 30th. Elsewhere in the attraction, the sounds of sleigh-bells and reindeer hooves spell the arrival of the big man himself, who will be flying in to Cadbury World to continue the Christmas cheer.

In between checking his lists, Santa will visit Cadbury World every weekend to entertain families with his very own stage show. With a bag full of presents, there’s a gift for every child – making a visit to the exclusive Cadbury World Santa Show top of everyone’s Christmas list.

The on-site chocolatiers will be working harder than elves in a toyshop, crafting beautiful handmade treats and gifts that are perfect to go under the tree. These will be available in the World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop, alongside other much-loved seasonal products. With all the excitement of the pantomime, gift purchasing and Santa’s stage show, the Cadbury Café is the perfect place to relax and stay in spirit. With a special yuletide menu, you can catch your breath amongst all the Christmas activities.

Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, said: “Nothing gets you in the Christmas spirit quite like a panto! This is the second time we’ll be giving the Cadbury World spin to Cinderella – and as we had so much fun the first time, we can’t wait to see what this year brings.

“With our unique Santa Show, incredible chocolate creations and festive decorations, there’s no shortage of Christmas cheer here at Cadbury World this year.”

Visitors will also be able to uncover a world of chocolate delights throughout all of Cadbury World’s zones. Tickets are now available to book in advance to ensure the whole family has a Christmas that’s choc-full of fun at Cadbury World.
