DanceXchange launch new season programme

Fancy giving it a go? You can take part as well.

Birmingham-based DanceXchange is launching its autumn programme of dance classes, designed to welcome everyone of all ages and abilities, with a week of free taster sessions from Monday 12th–Saturday 17th September.

The full autumn programme, which runs from 19th September until 10th December, includes 36 classes with 14 different dance styles including favourites such as street dance, ballet and swing as well as new classes including Bollywood, Flamenco and Solo Jazz.

The taster sessions will help people to choose a class with confidence offering a chance for new and returning participants to sample the classes ahead of the new term. Each taster class will have an introduction from the tutor as well as space for questions and answers at the end of the class.

Linda Saunders, Strategic Director, DanceXchange said: “If you have always dreamed of dancing, or just want a fun and exciting way to get active and meet new people, our classes are the perfect way to take that first step! We offer a wide variety of styles to suit all ages and abilities from beginners of all ages to improvers and advanced levels.”

The new programme of dance classes launches ahead of DanceXChange’s autumn performance season at the Patrick Centre, Birmingham Hippodrome, which offers something for everyone from the English premiere of a charming, family-friendly show at Christmas, to a visually mesmerising production at the cutting-edge of dance and digital technology. The performance season runs from 22nd September–3rd December.

Dance classes cost from £5.70 for full price adults and from £3.60 for children. Participants can drop in and pay as they go or save money through bulk-buying classes in advance. Classes are filled on a first come, first served basis.
