Street food birthday bash on the village square.
Brum Yum Yum’s infamous monthly street food market will celebrate its third anniversary in Kings Heath, this Saturday 9th April.
The KingshEATh Street Food Market will celebrate with a festival-style party featuring Birmingham’s best street food vendors, live entertainment, and more, making it the perfect day out for foodies and families alike.
To mark the occasion, Brum Yum Yum will be debuting three new street food vendors to the already impressive line-up, with Café Horchata, The Middle Feast, and The Beefer all serving their delicious dishes on the day. There will also be the usual array of quality street food from the likes of The Vegan Grindhouse, Charlie Dumpling, Churros Susanna, Pizza Traders, The Spice Is Right, to name but a few.
The iconic British Bus Bar will also join the festivities on the Village Square, offering visitors a selection of spirits, craft beers and wines. Coincidentally, they will also be celebrating the 2nd birthday of their converted 1963 Routemaster London Bus, Daisy.
Live entertainment will come from local favourite band The Frenzies, who will be entertaining crowds with their rockabilly blues throughout the afternoon.
Duncan Stanley, the man behind Brum Yum Yum, said: “As we enter our fourth year, the Birmingham street food scene is flying and Kings Heath is where it’s all happening. With up to 25 traders every month, KingshEATh Street Food Market is one of the biggest and best in the country, and that all shows how far Brum streetfood has come!”
The KingshEATh Street Food Market, which takes place on the second Saturday of every month, attracts throngs of food-lovers to the Birmingham suburb with each event. Chairman of the Kings Heath BID, Stan Hems, added: “We have a fantastic calendar of regular events here on the Village Square each month, including the Farmers Market and Vintage and Antiques Fair, and Brum Yum Yum’s KingshEATh street food market is a real highlight! It’s great to see how far Brum Yum Yum have come since starting out in Kings Heath, and we’re proud that they’re continuing to fly the flag for us!”
The KingshEATh street food market will take place on the Kings Heath Village Square from 11.30am-5pm on Saturday 9th April 2016.
