Birthday celebrations for People’s Orchestra.

West Bromwich-based The peope’s Corchestra will be celebrating their fourth anniversary by holding a concert packed with great film music, from films old and new, by some of the very best film composers.

Also featured wil be a specially commissioned composition by John Altman, featuring saxophonist Xhosa Cole, a member of The People’s Orchestra since its conception.

John Altman is an Emmy and BAFTA award-winning composer. His previous work includes producing Aled Jones’ Walking in the Air and compositions for films such as GoldenEye, Titanic and of course,

To make this event even more special, they will be joined on stage by some of the many players who have performed with The People’s Orchestra throughout its lifetime, creating the biggest orchestra to grace West Bromwich Town Hall in many years.
