Fans of the blues will be well catered for at the Robin 2 over the next week.
On Wednesday there’s a new band in town, when upcoming and highly acclaimed classic rockers Inglorious play the Robin. With their roots in the blues-influenced rock of such bands as Deep Purple and Bad Company, the band will be plugging their eponymous debut album.

In contrast, Thursday sees the return of one of the venue’s favourite acts. The Blues Band have been around forever, the musicians that make up their number have a pedigree dating back as long as the blues has been played in Britain and their live shows combine experience with enthusiasm.

On Sunday 28th February another legendary name in British blues rock will be performing. Stray are celebrating their fiftieth anniversary this year, founder member Del Bronham still utilising the talent that has seen him playing with such names as Leslie West in one of the classic power trios.

Another new name will be playing on Monday 29th February, albeit a name that is one of the best-known in rock history. Devon Allman, son of Gregg, has put together a band of seasoned musicians to perform on a world tour in support of his lates album Ragged and Dirty, a release that places him firmly in the top division of modern blues.
