Record numbers visit Cadbury World

Bonus attractions help boost Christmas crowds.

Popular Bournville-based family attraction Cadbury World finished 2015 on a high after reaching a new visitor record for its Christmas events.

Cadbury World welcomed more than 43,000 visitors to its sold-out Christmas events in 2015 – an impressive 19% annual increase on last year’s figures. As well as getting to enjoy Cadbury World’s 14 zones, visitors over the festive period were treated to an exclusive pantomime, Sleeping Beauty and the Chuckle Bean Fairy, and a brand new Santa show.

Overall, visitor numbers reached just over 647,000 for 2015 – one of the busiest years yet for the attraction. Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, said: “Once again, we’ve had a hugely successful year and it was great to end on such a high with our most popular Christmas celebrations yet.

“It was fantastic to have sold out every weekend and the addition of two new days just before Christmas helped us to accommodate more visitors. We’re really pleased that Cadbury World continues to be a popular choice for families across the UK. Last year, we offered visitors a packed schedule of family entertainment and themed activities, something that will continue over the next 12 months.”
