First production of 2016 is classic comedy.
The Lichfield Players promise to beam rays of warmth and laughter into January with their latest production Daisy Pulls It Off’by Denise Deegan.
Performed in the main auditorium of the Garrick Theatre, this hilarious St Trinians-style comedy is great entertainment for the whole family.
It’s 1927 and plucky Daisy Meredith has just been accepted into the hallowed halls of Grangewood School for Girls as their first ever scholarship pupil. But it’s not all jolly hockey sticks! Frightful snobs Sybil and Monica delight in dreaming up ghastly schemes and schoolgirl pranks to get the new girl expelled. However, ably assisted by her new best friend Trixie, beating the bullies becomes just one in a series of deliciously irresistible adventures for the ever–energetic Daisy.
Can our heroine thwart her enemies? Can she find the long lost secret treasure of Grangewood? And can she ultimately save the school? Join Daisy and her friends for hockey matches, midnight feasts, expeditions and adventure!
