Car dealership donates vehicle to charity

Lookers Vauxhall Birmingham gets into gear with Help Harry Help Others.

Lookers Vauxhall Birmingham has helped a Midlands based charity support even more families fighting cancer, by donating a vehicle to Help Harry Help Others.

Following the opening of Birmingham’s drop-in cancer support centre in May this year, the charity goes the extra mile to ensure accessibility to cancer support services across the region. Facing the growing challenge of travelling throughout the Midlands, Lookers Vauxhall was delighted to offer its own unique donation to help support the charity’s work; a Vauxhall Mokka.

The use of the branded vehicle has been given to Harry’s mum, Georgie Moseley, helping to not only give her greater ease of access to the community, but also helping to raise awareness of the charity’s work. With Christmas just around the corner, the car will also be used to help deliver gifts to HelpCOPE cancer families this year, helping to spread Harry love across the region. Featuring the HHHO social media handles, the spacious Mokka offers a dynamic and versatile design, combining the power of an SUV into a more compact style to perfectly meet Georgie’s needs.

The vehicle is just one way in which Lookers Vauxhall Birmingham, the charity’s longest serving corporate client, proudly supports HHHO. In recent months, Rugby4Harry saw 140 children from across the Midlands take part in a fun-filled day of rugby with the emphasis on young people in the community, while a ladies networking event, Sparkle & Glitter, held at the Star City dealership helped to raise awareness for the charity.

Alan Collins, general manager at Lookers Vauxhall Birmingham, said: “We’ve been proud supporters of HHHO from the beginning, and it’s been fantastic to see the impact that our vehicle has had on their ability to help families across the Midlands. We’re always looking at new ways to help raise money and support the work that Georgie and the team does, so watch this space for even more events from us soon.”

Georgie Moseley, Harry’s mum and founder of Help Harry Help Others, added: “We are eternally grateful for the support from Lookers Vauxhall Birmingham over the years, they really believe in our work as a charity and are always happy to help in any way they can. From fantastic events, to providing us with our very own car to use, they really have shared all the highs and the lows along the way and we look forward to working with them for many years to come.”
