Anniversary treat marks celebration.
It doesn’t get much sweeter than sharing your birthday with the nation’s most-loved chocolate attraction, but as Cadbury World celebrated its 25th anniversary last month, one lucky winner got to join in with the party.
After a social media competition to find UK residents sharing the attraction’s birthday on 14th August, Natalie Taylor from Peterborough was chosen at random to enjoy an exclusive chocolate making experience at Cadbury World. Joined by seven of her family and friends, the birthday girl went behind the scenes with the talented Cadbury World chocolatiers to find out more about the making of chocolate.
Throughout the two-hour session, the group had the chance to learn the art of tempering and moulding chocolate, as well as trying their hand at decorating and piping using techniques demonstrated by the Cadbury World chocolatiers. Guests also sampled Cadbury chocolates and discovered more about the processes used to create them, before being presented with a large certificate made from Cadbury chocolate to recognise their newly acquired chocolate making skills.
Following the chocolate making experience, the party got to explore the attraction’s 14 zones, including the interactive 4D Chocolate Adventure cinema experience.
Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, said: “This is the first time visitors have had the chance to go behind the scenes and find out what it takes to be one of our amazing chocolatiers, and what better occasion than to celebrate our 25th anniversary?”
“Natalie and her guests had a fantastic day, and it was an added bonus that it was her 25th birthday too! We’d love to be able to give more of our visitors the chance to enjoy this exclusive experience – watch this space!”
