New Birmingham festival announced

Aim is to bring together the city’s best value music event.

Non-profit making musical collective Die Das Der have announced the line-up for Yr Welcome Birmingham 2, the second edition of their now annual festival, which will take place at the Wagon and Horses in Digbeth on 15th and 16th August 2015.

As with last year’s inaugural festival, Yr Welcome 2 aims to be Birmingham’s premiere bang-for-buck DIY grassroots festival, bringing together local and national talent for a non-stop guide to the musically obtuse, abrasive and intriguing.

The line-up has now been announced except for two surprise acts who will be announced closer to the time, but both bands are destined for big things over the next
12 months).

The event will offer a rare opportunity to see some of the most impressive and imaginative up-and-coming bands in an intimate location, in the heart of Digbeth – Birmingham’s artistic and creative quarter. Last year’s inaugural ferstival featured stand-out, headline performances from Slaves and God Damn,acts that have gone on to receive national acclaim.
