Introducing The Fort Heroes

Birmingham shopping park announces its new campaign ambassadors.

The Fort Shopping Park, Birmingham, is celebrating summer with the announcement of their new campaign ambassadors. The Fort Heroes are four inspirational individuals who are going the extra mile to make a difference within the city’s communities.

Following a competition launched on Facebook, the winners and new ambassadors as nominated by the public, can now be revealed; PJ Ellis of LoveBrum, Angela Cloke from Meningitis Now, Kat Ellis, a paramedic at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity and Helen Bell at Karis Neighbour Scheme, amazed the Fort with the wonderful work they are doing for others across the city.

Adding to its bank of impressive local ambassadors, the out-of-city shopping destination celebrates the season with the ‘fantastic four’ modelling The Fort’s fashion offerings from retailers such as New Look, Moss, Schuh and Next to name a few.

PJ Ellis of LoveBrum said “Being nominated for the Fort campaign was such a fantastic surprise. We had a great time at the shoot and it was wonderful to meet the other ambassadors and see how we can all work together to further support our individual causes – it’s brilliant that The Fort has brought us all together.”

Angela Cloke from Meningitis Now, continued “There are some amazing charities in the region, all doing fantastic work however, it can be a constant battle to be heard and get support. Being involved with the Fort Heroes campaign is an amazing opportunity and a great platform to shout about the work we are so passionate about.”

As The Fort ambassadors, the chosen heroes will appear within a campaign and be involved in lots of fun activities too; from being pampered at a fabulous pamper spa day courtesy of the New Hall Hotel and Spa in Sutton Coldfield to attending events, and writing blog posts for the website.

Marjan Horne, centre manager of The Fort said: “We are amazed and truly inspired by our ‘Fort Heroes’. We know there are wonderful people in our city doing such valuable work but we are truly honoured to have four of them as our new ambassadors. Over the coming months The Fort will be championing our heroes and asking our shoppers to get involved.”

Designed for use across advertising, PR, marketing and social media; the campaign is set to launch this month. The Fort’s website can be found at www.thefort.co.uk
