Runners thanked for contribution.
A team of over 250 supporters of the League of Friends for John Taylor Hospice were amongst the 7,000 who took part in the Great Midlands Fun Run in Sutton Coldfield.
They were given support on the day by the new Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Councillor Ray Hassall.
Spokesman for the hospice Ray Woods said, “It was a fantastic turnout from our supporters. Our aim is to raise funds to help Hospice patients and their carers. We are delighted with the support that we have had from local companies and individuals – and were delighted to have been chosen by Cookes Furniture as one of their favoured charities.
“I would like to say a big thank you to Tracey Spare, the sponsors, the volunteers and all who help to make this great event happen each year.”
