Acoustic is the order of the week at the Robin 2.
Wednesday 27th May sees a first time at the Robin for local guitarist Pete Kent. Hailing from Wolverhampton, Pete’s fingerstyle acoustic playing has made him much in demand as a session musician and now he’s embarking on a solo career.

Thursday sees another acoustic performer onstage, this time with Leddra Chapman making her Robin debut. Singer-songwriter Leddra’s first album telling Tales, released in 2009, gained widespread national radio & TV exposure and led to a hectic schedule of touring across the UK and Europe that still continues.

Sunday sees a total contrast in the form of the Reverend Payton’s Big Damn Band, returning from Indiana for another slab of country blues. Regulars in the Billboard blues album charts, the band combines a myriad of styles with virtuoso playing to provide a memorable live show that has made them festival favourites around the world.
