Learn where chocolate came from.

Visitors are set to enjoy chocolate and spice at Cadbury World, as Aztec Weekend returns from Saturday 6th–Sunday 7th June.

Visitors will be transported 1,000 years back in time through the Aztec Jungle, where they can learn about the exotic origins of the cocoa bean whilst sampling Emperor Montezuma’s favourite chilli chocolate drink. Young explorers should also be on the lookout for a living statue of the emperor, who will be surprising onlookers and posing for photographs throughout the weekend.

There’s lots more to uncover as visitors continue on their Cadbury World journey, ensuring a day that’s choc-full of fun for the whole family. From hearing about the fascinating story of Cadbury chocolate and watching a chocolatier in action in the popular Chocolate Making zone, to meeting the iconic drumming gorilla in Advertising Avenue, the attraction’s fourteen zones make for a great day out.

Cadbury World is also home to the new 4D Chocolate Adventure zone, an interactive cinema experience which launched last year. Giving visitors the chance to experience the feeling of diving into a pot of melted Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate and riding the Crunchie Rollercoaster, the popular zone helps to bring the Cadbury magic to life. That’s not all, the newly revamped Purple Planet zone is home to a range of new and improved interactive games with a chocolate twist.

With lots more on offer, including the World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop, stocked with all the Cadbury favourites, as well as the Cadbury Café and African Adventure play area for children, the attraction’s 25th anniversary year promises to be its best ever.

Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, said: “Aztec Weekend always adds some extra spice to a Cadbury World visit, helping to bring the origins and history of the cocoa bean to life. As we reach June, we’re already half-way through our exciting 25th anniversary year, but with lots more events and celebrations to come, there’s plenty to look forward to at Cadbury World.”

June is set to be another busy month at Cadbury World, with a host of events including Sooty’s Fun House and the return of the popular Character Weekends. For more information about upcoming events at Cadbury World, visit www.cadburyworld.co.uk/whatson/eventscalendar.
