University to hold urban radio discussion.
On Thursday 7th May a panel discussion will be taking place at Birmingham City University’s Parkside Lecture Theatre about the early days of urban music radio, new technologies, how to stay relevant in today’s society and what still motivates these early pioneers.
The panel will include:

In addition, there will be an opportunity to purchase Masters of the Airwaves, a book about the early stages of urban UK music radio. It was compiled by original Kiss FM DJs/Broadcasters Lindsay Wesker and Dave VJ, and features a vast array of contributors including Jazzie B OBE, David Rodigan MBE, Trevor Nelson MBE and Norman Jay MBE,
