Yet more street food events.
The region’s foodie reputation is spreading its wings with two upcoming events in iconic Midlands locations. Get yourself back outside and scoffing with some fantastic street food to kick-start your spring as Scoff Street Food host a two day street food party.
On Friday the 27th, you can get down to Stratford for an all new party. The event takes place at Stratford Boat Club, overlooking the Avon and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. This evening event is the perfect way to get ready for the weekend, with chilled out live music, a fantastic line up of food and shelter from the elements if
needed. Why not make a night of it and stroll across the water for Loves Labour’s Lost or Oppenheimer.
This one starts at 5pm, goes through until 9 and there’s plenty of parking (costing £2) at CV37 6BB.
Saturday is just as good. Fargo Village, Coventry, will be the destination, and great food will be the purpose. There’s a full line-up of world-wide street food, a converted double-decker bus bar to quench your thirst and fantastic shopping throughout the village. Come and see how much Fargo has evolved, grab some excellent nosh and immerse yourself in Coventry’s alternative side. Again, there’s plenty of shelter if the weather isn’t kind – which it will be.
Start time is 11, and the event goes on until 4.30 with free parking at CV1 5LJ.
