Street food hits Coventry

Food and much more at Saturday fair.

Scoff is throwing a party, and everyone is invited! With the help of at Fargo Village, Coventry’s brand new independent shopping outlet, they intend to give Christmas a run for its money. There will be tasty street food, a real ale festival featuring some lip-smackingly good ales and a vintage market. While you’re enjoying that there will also be live music, close up magic, cooking demonstrations for young and old, a sausage and wine pairing and an amazing line up of independent retail.

This is the chance to show the world that Coventry is a destination, not just a location. It’s a great town, and it’s getting better and better all the time: Two great universities, some fantastic history, culture and museums and now great shopping, arts and the city’s only dedicated street food market – every weekend as well as the big party on the 29th!

No matter what the weather is like we have got you literally covered. There is free parking, free entry and free feelgood factor for supporting more local businesses than you could get round in a month of independent retail therapy. See you there!

The event takes place on Saturday 29th November from 12 noon till 6pm on Far Gosford Street, Coventry.

Featuring:
 Big Daddies Diner (Hot Dogs)
 Spectacular Goat (Pizza)
 Hungry Toad (Southern Soul Food)
 The Jabberwocky (Toasties)
 Canoodle (Pan Asian)
 Bourneville Waffles (Waffles, surprisingly)
 Meat Shack (The Filthy Burger)
