Birmingham PR firm crowned Midlands’ finest

Accolade for HROC.

Edgbaston-based Public Relations agency, HROC PR, has been awarded one of the PR industry’s most coveted prizes, scooping the Gold award for Outstanding Consultancy of the Year at the 2014 Midlands PRide Awards.

Run annually by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR), the PRide Awards celebrates the cream of the industry, recognising innovation and excellence across the sector.

The Outstanding Consultancy of the Year award is given to the company which displays continued excellence, and one that shows clear evidence of a commitment to continually improving and enhancing its offering, as well as demonstrating the highest levels of client satisfaction.

This year’s glittering ceremony was held for the first time at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on Friday evening (14th Nov), hosted by Sky News Correspondents Tom Parmenter and Lisa Dowd.

Steve Sherran, HROC PR Managing Director commented on the news: “We’re absolutely delighted to be awarded this prestigious industry prize, which recognises the excellent work and expertise of our team and our commitment to make HROC an outstanding agency.

“This year has been a very exciting one for us, both internally and with new business successes. We’ve continued to improve on the already excellent service we offer our clients; we’ve enhanced our internal practices and moved over to a fully content-based offering, which unites traditional media relations with social, new media and video content. Our desire to always produce outstanding content is tied together with our commitment to customer satisfaction and delivering genuine ROI for our clients – something that has always been at the heart of what HROC PR is all about.”

The accolade rounds off what’s set to be a hugely successful year for the wider HROC group, which include Creative Services, Digital and Media.
