A taste of Touchwood

Sweet delights for Solihull shoppers.

Chocoholics are in for a treat this October when Touchwood teams up with one of Britain’s top food sculptors, Prudence Staite, to unveil a collection of incr-‘edible’ sculptures made completely of chocolate.

In celebration of the new autumn/winter season’s tempting trends, Prudence’s specially-commissioned exhibition will feature fabulous footwear, beautiful bags, must-have accessories and designer dresses all sculpted from delicious chocolate. Guests coming to the Solihull centre between Thursday 2 and Sunday 5 October will be in with the chance of winning one of the scrumptious sculptures to take home, as well as a range of other appetising prizes. Plus, there will be a whole host of special discounts and exclusive promotions from a selection of Touchwood’s favourite chocolate-themed retailers.

To tempt guests further, the centre’s very own ‘Touchwood Maker’ will be handing out free chocolate bars, ten of which will contain lucky golden tickets entitling the holders to even more fantastic prizes from one of Touchwood’s retailers.

Lucy Burnett, marketing manager at Touchwood, comments: “Who doesn’t love chocolate? What better way to celebrate the indulgent treat than combining it with fashion to celebrate the decadent new season of autumn/winter trends. Our fantastic sculptor will be showcasing her skills first hand on Thursday 2nd October, leaving people to marvel at her edible creations over the weekend. Many of our retailers will also be handing out yummy treats and ten winners of Touchwood’s very own golden ticket will win some amazing prizes – including their very own chocolate sculpture to take home! If you’re a confectionary fanatic, pop down to see our very own chocolate haven.”

The Touchwood Taste event will launch on Thursday 2 October, with live sculpting from Prudence from 3pm – 7pm, and ends on Sunday 5 October. For more information about the event, visit www.touchwoodsolihull.co.uk.
