City centre date for entrepreneurs.
Former Apprentice contestant Jo Cameron is inviting women from Birmingham and the surrounding areas to join her at a business open day held at thestudio on Wednesday 9th April.
Taking place at 9am, the free-to-attend event aims to inspire female entrepreneurs and business leaders to share their expertise through the Achievers Academy for Women (AAW) network. AAW is a nationally-recognised initiative founded by Jo which boasts 16 ‘leadership circles’ across the UK.
Jo said: “Birmingham has a huge number of professional women who want to grow their businesses and develop their skills. The open day is designed to reach out to those who are already members of the AAW, and those looking to come on board to deliver some practical business advice.”
The AAW has grown to include an annual awards scheme, member development days, specialist online forums and access to business growth courses.
Emma Jennings, director at thestudio and member of the academy, said: “I’m thrilled to be able to host another Achievers Academy for Women event at thestudio and look forward to welcoming so many like-minded individuals. I’ve been a member of the academy for some time now and the benefits really are invaluable.”
Those interested in attending the event can email hello@achieversacademyforwomen or telephone 0843 289 2839 to book a place. Alternatively, please contact thestudio on 0800 028 6694 or visit www.studiovenues.co.uk.
