Visitors get the chance to meet their favourite Cadbury characters

Freddo, Creme Egg, Caramel Bunny and Mr Cadbury’s Parrot will all be on hand to entertain guests at Cadbury World’s first ever Character Weekend.

Taking place on 8th–9th March, the attraction will be welcoming some familiar faces and inviting visitors to pose with their favourite Cadbury character. It has also launched an online competition giving one lucky family the chance to win complimentary tickets to the upcoming weekend along with an exclusive meet n greet, printed photographs and a character-themed  goody bag. To win, visitors simply have to vote for their favourite character on the attraction’s social media platforms with the lucky winner being announced on Wednesday 5th March.

In addition, families will also be able to explore a whole world of chocolatey fun at the attraction from climbing aboard the magical Cadabra ride to playing in chocolate rain. They will also get the chance to see some of the characters including the Caramel Bunny and Creme Egg in their original commercials when visiting the Advertising Avenue and the World’s Biggest Cadbury Shop zones.

Diane Mitchell, marketing manager at Cadbury World, said: “Many of the popular characters already hold a ‘celebrity’ status with fans and families which is why we thought it would be great to give them the chance to meet their Cadbury heroes in person when visiting. We’ve also had many internal debates over which one is the people’s favourite so we’ve decided to settle this once and for all by inviting our social media fans to get involved and I’m intrigued to see the results!”

Cadbury World offers a variety of seasonal events throughout the year including the return of the popular Sooty Show and a special Mother’s Day treat scheduled for later in the month.
