Local business invests in creative talent

Design and marketing specialists employ young workers.

A local business is investing in the creative talent of the future by offering paid apprenticeships to college leavers. Superdream, based in Bromsgrove, regularly employs young people from the local area in a range of creative roles.

Last week, the agency welcomed two new apprentices in Web Development and Web Design. Andy Bates and Mason Bennett, both 18 years-old, attended colleges in Worcestershire before choosing an apprenticeship as an alternative to university. As part of the Superdream team, they’ll have the opportunity to work on a range of creative projects, acquire new skills and gain a real insight into the design industry.

The agency has already been shortlisted for the ENEI Tapping Into Talent Award in recognition of its ever-expanding apprenticeship programme and dedication to helping young people into work.

Superdream Managing Director, Jason Manning says: “In today’s tough economic climate, it’s harder than ever for young people to secure that all important first job in the design industry. At Superdream, we’re passionate about new ideas and are always on the lookout for fresh new talent. By offering paid apprenticeships to college leavers, we’re not only tapping into the talents of our local workforce; we’re helping to inspire tomorrow’s creative and digital minds. ”

Superdream is fast becoming one of the largest creative agencies in Worcestershire, and offers a complete package of services, from creative and advertising to website development and digital marketing.
