The annual Midlands Fashion Awards are back with all roads leading to the Penthouse at the Loft Lounge, Bromsgrove Street on Friday 11th October. The event, which has been running since 2009, will be hosted by ITV Lucy Kite and promises once more to give emerging local talen t a platform on which to shin e.
Finalists will compete for a featured spread in Style Birmingham Magazine and SIXTYNINEDEGREES Magazine, together with opportunity to attend business workshops and seminars courtesy of mentoring service Fashion Angel. The judging panel comprises the Editor-in Chief of Style Birmingham Magazine, Andrew Riley, founder and managing director of the Midlands Fashion Awards Jenny Eason, founder and managing director of Rees, Bradley Hepburn, founding member of Young British Designers, Debra Hepburn, PR manager at ShoppinginBirmingham.com Kim Stephens and fashion expert Alison Dewy, who is managing director at Fashion Angel.
Visitors to the event can expect to network with fashionistas, press and the media with ticket holders receiving a stylish limited edition Midlands Fashion tote goodie bag. In addition to the awards ceremony, . accessory designers will be exhibiting at the show and there will be a raffle in aid of breast cancer research. raffle prizes.
