18k ‘Key of the Door’ birthday competition

A Worcestershire-based business is celebrating its 18th birthday by giving away £18,000 in a Willy Wonka-style golden key competition.

Supra UK Managing Director David Ogden and Susie Wells, Marketing Manager.

Supra UK, which is based in Droitwich, will donate the money to a community project nominated by one of its 2 million UK customers.

Entrepreneur David Ogden, the UK authority on key safes, established Supra UK in 1995 when he introduced the UK to the concept of key safes and securely storing property keys externally.

Key safes are an invaluable tool for local authorities, health and care professionals and housing associations, enabling them to securely access properties.

The company now employs over 25 staff and has a multi-million pound annual turnover.

Supra UK’s C500 is the only police-approved key safe in the UK, thanks to its unique Secured By Design police endorsement.

To celebrate 18 years of sustained growth and employment, Supra UK is offering 8 of its customers the chance to nominate a local community project, which would benefit from the cash investment.

Between June 3rd and August 31st, the lucky customers, selected at random, will be sent a special birthday golden key with a future order.

Each will be asked to nominate a local community scheme or project. Visitors to Supra UK’s website, www.keysafebirthday.co.uk will then be invited to vote for their favourite project, with the winner announced at a VIP event on November 14th, attended by all 8 golden key holders and their nominated community projects.

Mr Ogden, managing director of Supra UK, said: “I’m really proud of everyone involved with Supra UK, who helped us reach this landmark anniversary. I am as passionate today as I was when I set up the business and our ethos of a quality product, great customer service and always setting the standards is the key to our success.

“We hope this fantastic birthday prize will do just what our key safes already do – change people’s lives.”
