Campaign for Rail – Chance to meet Chiltern Stations Manager

Birmingham Moor Street Station

The Midlands based rail champion, Campaign for Rail will be holding its inaugural Annual General Meeting this Saturday, 22nd June 2013 at 11.00 a.m. at the Atrium, Moor Street Station, Birmingham, commencing at 11.00 a.m. (doors open for registration 10.30 a.m.)  

The meeting is open to the public.

Chad Collins from Chiltern Railways, who runs main line services between Kidderminster, Stourbridge, Birmingham, Solihull, Warwick and Leamington Spa will be the  guest speaker, who will be giving a presentation on Stations, Past, Present and Future looking in particular at the stations on their network and looking at how they will be modernised in the future.

Rail passengers will be able to ask Mr. Collins questions about the companies plans over the coming years.

Moor Street Station is in the heart of Birmingham City Centre and is approximately ten minutes walk from the new entrance to Birmingham New Street Station.   Moor Street has won a “Railway Heritage Award” for its outstanding restoration and is the hub of Chilterns Birmingham – London operations.
