University to host open day

Prospective students seeking to increase their career options are invited to an Open Day at the University of Wolverhampton.

The Open Day will take place tomorrow, Saturday, 9 March 2013 at the Wolverhampton and Walsall campuses from 10am to 3pm.

There will be numerous things to do at the event, including the chance to look around the University’s facilities, meet prospective lecturers at the Subject Fair, and visit the student accommodation. Opportunities for students and their families to question experts on funding matters will also be available.

Louise O’Neill, Education Events Manager, said: The Open Day is a fantastic opportunity for prospective students to get to know the University of Wolverhampton.

“Throughout the day there will be a range of features on offer such as a programme of talks, campus tours and workshops for all to attend.

“At Wolverhampton City Campus people can find out about applied sciences, art & design, business, computing and IT, engineering, health and nursing, law, social sciences and communications.

“Meanwhile at Walsall there’ll be plenty of information about sport, music, dance, drama, leisure and lifestyle, midwifery, nursing, teaching and education.”
