Lucy Porter – People Person

On Wednesday 17 April, one of the UK’s leading female comics, Lucy Porter, will be bringing her brand new show, People Person, to The Public in West Bromwich as part of her nationwide tour.

Packed full of hilarious stand up observations, People Person is based around a fascinating true story with a stunning twist in the tale.  Throughout the show, the thirty-something mum tackles the big subjects; happiness, home shopping, friendship and the psychological impact of daytime TV’s Dom Littlewood.

Known for her distinctive, bouncy, feel-good comedy, Lucy Porter is a regular face and voice on TV and radio panel shows.  She appears regularly on BBC Radio 4’s ‘The Unbelievable Truth’ and ‘Life: An Idiot’s Guide’, and has co-presented the magazine show ‘What’s So Funny’ on BBC Radio 4 Extra.  She has also featured on ‘Mock the Week‘, ‘Argumental‘ for Dave, ‘Have I got News for You‘, and ‘Never Mind the Buzzcocks‘.

Lucy Porter – People person takes place at The Public on Wednesday 17 April at 8pm.  Tickets are £12 advanced, £14 on the door and are available from www.thepublic.com or by calling 0121 533 7161.
