’I Know I Have a Heart’ features original love ballads, pop, soft reggae, folk and jazz songs with former ‘Yes’ keyboard player Rick Wakeman as guest performer.

The album also features contributions from internationally acclaimed bass player and vocalist Phil Spalding, acoustic guitarist Martin Lucas (aka The Celturian) on acoustic guitar, Anna Jenkins on violin, Hughie Thomas on saxophone and clarinet, and Louie Nicatro on percussion.

With four albums to her credit, Fay Goodman is a highly accomplished musician who started playing piano and composing at the age of six. She went on to win an EMI recording contract in the 1980s as lead vocalist with the international chart-topping band China Doll.

Fay said: “This is a very personal album that has helped me through a difficult period in my life. All music lovers will be welcome at the launch event where I will be singing four of the tracks as well as giving a short live samurai sword demonstration.”
