Get on the learning curve at Wolves Uni Open Day

People who are interested in finding out more about studying at the University of Wolverhampton are invited to an Open Day.

The event will take place at the University’s Wolverhampton and Walsall Campuses on Saturday, 17 November 2012.

Visitors can look around the facilities and meet lecturers from 10am until 3pm.

There will be tours of the student accommodation and opportunities to chat to the experts about finances and careers.

Louise O’Neill, Education Events Manager, said: “The Open Day starts at 10am and there’s plenty to do throughout the day. People can visit the Subject Fair to meet our academics and find out more about the subject they’re interested in, and we’ll have talks, tours and workshops for people to attend.”

At Wolverhampton City Campus people can find out about applied sciences, art and design, business, computing and  IT, engineering and the built environment, health and nursing, law, social sciences and communications.

Meanwhile, people visiting Walsall Campus will find information about sport, music, dance, drama, leisure and lifestyle industries, midwifery, nursing, teaching and education.

There will also be an Engineering Bus heading to the Telford Campus from Wolverhampton at 1pm for a tour of the facilities for engineering and the built environment students there.
