This week at the Assembly

After a few quiet weeks Leamington’s finest is springing back into life.

On tonight is the Irish singer-songwriter Mavrick Sabre at the Assembly. Highly rated by many radio presenters, even to the extent of being called “the male Amy Winehouse,” Maverick has also played Glastonbury, appeared on Later with Jools Holland and his debut album Lonely Are the Brave was released earlier this year to popular acclaim. Tickets £16

On Thursday there’s a memorable night in prospect with local heroes the Enemy. After taking a three-year break the band proved with their Streets for the Sky album released in May this year that they are as popular and hard-hitting as ever. Tickets £17.50

There’s an evening of amateur boxing on Friday presented by Cleary’s Gym in Leamington. Tickets £10

Saturday sees tribute act the Pink Floyd Dimension at the Assembly. Tickets £10

On Sunday the Assembly hosts the UK’s 2nd annual female tattoo show. Tickets £8
