Liverpudlian comic, Alexei Sayle, will be heading to The Public in West Bromwich on Wednesday 17 October, as part of his first stand up tour in 16 years.
Known for his cynicism and political awareness, Sayle was an influential figure in the alternative comedy scene of the 1980s. The very first compere at London’s Comedy Store and star of the BBC’s hit comedy The Young Ones, Alexei, regarded as one of the UK’s greatest stand-ups, is renowned for his absurd and surreal antics.

Alexei Sayle will be performing at The Public on Wednesday 17 October at 8pm.

Prior to the show, from 6pm, The Public will be serving a delicious range of buffet style meals including chilli, cheese and potato pie and roast pork. The pre-show meal is £7.50.
