The police commander in Solihull is inviting the public to meet her on Wednesday 8th August and share their experiences of policing.

Chief Superintendent Sally Bourner will be at a new walk-in centre in Chelmsley Wood shopping centre this Wednesday from 12 midday -2pm to meet residents and see how officers can continue to improve the service they can offer.

Commenting on the success of the recent joint agency walk-in centre Chief Supt Bourner said: “The partnership approach between the force and Solihull Council has meant that front office services traditionally only available from police stations are now more widely available and accessible. Being able to offer a service to local people, in a location they visit as part of their daily business has increased our ability to interact with the public. Feedback from people using the service has been really positive. We are always keen to improve the service we offer and the public can have a real influence on this.”

The Solihull Connect walk in centre can be found in Chelmsley Wood’s shopping centre at the top of the escalators near Asda.
