Help is available for students who don’t know what to do next after receiving their GCSE results.
Employment and skills experts Working Links, which delivers a programme to help young people in Birmingham gain the skills they need for work, is offering a helping hand for those students who might not have got the qualifications they wanted.
Working Links has spaces on its Initiate programme to help 16-18-year-olds who are not in education, employment or training.
The 12-week programme gives participants a chance to gain the skills employers require, overcome barriers to education, employment or training, gain work experience and get help as they search for opportunities.
Sandra Morrow, operations manager at Working Links, said: “Whether students haven’t got the results they thought they would, or just don’t know what to do next, we are here to help.
“Our Initiate programme is designed to get young people back on track and into education, employment or training.”
