The usual mix of old legends and upcoming newcomers.
Tuesday features the monthly Sam Draisey sessions, with acoustic performance and open mic slots. Free admission, so get up and start performing.
Thursday sees punk veterans UK Subs at the Robin. It’s a toss-up which is the more incredible – that singer Charlie Harper is still going strong at 67 or that this band were once regulars on Top of the Pops. Maybe that’s why it isn’t on anymore. Tickets £10
On Friday there’s an evening with Bernie Marsden. Stories from a lifetime in the music business, acoustic blues and finally a full-on classic rock set from a man best known for his years with Whitesnake. Tickets £15
There’s another new arrival at the Robin on Saturday in the shape of Secret Affair, leaders of the mod revival of the late seventies and now reunited on the back of last year’s re-release of their 1979 classic Time for Action to raise funds for Save the Children. Tickets £15
Award-winning alternative electro-rock band Panic Room play on Sunday. Their third album S K I N is out later this month and this date is one of a handful prior to a full tour in autumn 2012.
