Attracting an audience from across the region with its clean, inoffensive ethos, the highly regarded comedy club is set once again to leave the audience in stitches.

Taking place on the first Wednesday of the month, each night is compered by the loveable housewife, Mrs Barbara Nice, and features some of the finest upcoming and established comics from across the UK.

The Laughing Sole is committed to proving that comedy doesn’t have to be offensive and that clean humour can be entertaining without losing an edge.  Since launching five years ago in South Birmingham the friendly and hospitable club night has gained much admiration across the circuit with both comedians and comedy lovers buying into its philosophy.

Headlining the second night, Jamie Sutherland, is one of the freshest, original acts to emerge in the last few years, having truly established himself on the comedy circuit, and is now very much in demand all over the UK.

The Liverpool born comic, who keeps the audience amused with gags, tales and stories, is renowned for his observational humour and good old style gags.

Support comes from Annette Fagon and Albert Smith.

Suitable for ages 16+

The Laughing Sole, featuring Jamie Sutherland, takes place on Wednesday 2 May.

Tickets are £8.50 advanced, £9.50 on the door, and are available from www.thepublic.com or by calling 0121 533 7161.
