Monday night sees the arrival of legendary American band Iron Butterfly. Famous for the haunting In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, they feature drummer Ron Bushy, whose soloing on the epic track set the standard for rock drummers. Tickets £16

On Tuesday the South are at the Robin. No longer ‘Beautiful’, they still possess a fine back catalogue and will also be performing new material. Tickets £20

Wednesday has the return of highly-acclaimed blues guitarist Big Boy Bloater to the Robin. With his debut album out last year and fresh from touring with Imelda May, Big Boy is living up to the words of Jools Holland, “One of the great blues men of our time.” Tickets £12.50

Friday has Pink Floyd tribute band Think Floyd on stage. Tickets £14.50

Saturday sees the return of one of the Robin’s favourites in the shape of singer Paul Carrack. Apart from his work with such bands as Roxy Music, Ace, Mike & the Mechanics and Squeeze, Paul has enjoyed massive solo success in a career that now spans over forty years. Tickets £22.50 (returns only)

Veteran Irish folk band Tir na nOg are at the Robin on Sunday. They were favourites of John Peel, have played with bands as varied as Hawkwind and Fairport Convention and are now in their fifth decade of live performance. Tickets £12

Upcoming Robin highlights in March include the Magic Band (12th), American blues guitarist Walter Trout (14th) and veteran punks Stiff Little Fingers (19th).
