Tributes, fund-raising and a couple of chances to be a star.

On Tuesday there’s the Robin’s monthly Open Mic night. Turn up, have a go, or sit back and listen to someone else. Admission’s free.

Thursday sees a night of homage to psychedelic guitarists, with Hendrix tribute Are You Experienced? supported by the world’s only Robin Trower tribute, Trower Power. Tickets £9.

Anyone who fancies being on TV can turn up on Friday to watch another tribute, the Adams Jovi Experience, a tribute to Bryan and Bon of those names.  The show is being filmed for a documentary and admission is free.

G2On Saturday there’s the Genesis tribute G2. Tickets £12.

Sunday sees a fundraiser for the Help for Heroes charity featuring a host of local bands including Wolverhampton-based indie act the Monobloggers and alt-rockers Dirty Little Lies.  Tickets £5.

Coming up soon at the Robin are the incomparable Half Man Half Biscuit 26th January), legendary blues singer Roger Chapman (28th January) and one of the few prog bands to get into the charts, Argent (2nd February), plus many others.
