What’s On at the Robin

Prog, tributes, prog tributes and a couple of farewells.

Monday sees the arrival of former Marillion singer Fish to the Robin. Since going solo he’s gained a cult following based on thrilling live shows and two decades of recording. Tickets £17.50.

Tuesday sees the sixth monthly final of the Robin/M2 Studios Live Band of the Year competition. Tickets £4

On Wednesday there’s a charity night featuring the final performance of local band Danny Cannon & the Ramrods, who first performed together in 1959. Tickets £10

On Thursday there’s Peter Gabriel tribute So Gabriel. Tickets £12.50

Friday sees a special show with the last performance at the Robin of the Hamsters, who over the past two decades have been the busiest band in the country, regularly clocking up over 250 gigs a year with their brand of r’n’b boogie.  Ticket £12.50

There’s another night of Rolling Stones tribute on Saturday from the Counterfeit Stones.  Tickets £12.50

Award-winning prog rock band Magenta will be at the Robin on Sunday, celebrating their tenth anniversary with two new albums in the pipeline.  Tickets £12.50.

Upcoming gigs include Roy Wood (26th November), Magnum (30th November) and Carl Palmer (1st December)
