Save our Markets: Public meeting

As part of the SAVE OUR MARKETS campaign there will be a public meeting in St. Martin’s Church on Friday 14th October at 2pm – 4pm.

Carl Chinn, local historian and newspaper columnist will be talking on the history of the markets and how important they have been –  and still are – to Birmingham’s communities.

Michael Ward, regeneration and public policy expert, will be talking more generally about how important markets are for the UK and why.

There will also be an update on the campaign’s progress to date.
