What’s On at Birmingham Town Hall and Symphony Hall

World-renowned American singer-sonwriter Don McLean returns once again to perform in the glorious acoustics of Symphony Hall on 19th June as part of his UK and Ireland tour. Tickets £27.50 and £3.50, on sale now.

Cyndi Lauper has sold 30 million records worldwide. The New York born and raised singer and actress returns to Symphony Hall on 26th June with her well documented penchant for having fun. Tickets 330, £33.50.

Gregg Allman, founding member of the Allman Brothers Band and Nashville bluesman brings his Low Country Blues album tour to Symphony Hall on 2nd July, with singer-songwriter Tift Merritt in support. Tickets £10, £20, £25, on sale now.

The ‘One-Man Jukebox’, Leonard Cohen, Coldplay and Damon Albarn collaborator plus star of last year’s Love Shines documentary Ron Sexsmith debuts at Birmingham Town Hall on 2nd September. Tickets £20, on sale now.

The Straits, comprising Alan Clark, Phil Palmer & Chris White from Dire Straits perform greatest hits from the band’s much-loved catalogue live on stage at Symphony Hall on 3rd October. Tickets £19.50, £29.50, £39.50, on sale 10am Friday 17 June.

Legendary Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman will be performing an evening of classic rhythm and blues at Birmingham Town Hall on 26th October, with special guest Mary Wilson from the Supremes. Tickets £30.50, on sale now.

Toumani Diabate, kora virtuoso and one of the hottest world music stars to come out of Africa in recent years performs a rare and intimate Birmingham concert at the Town Hall on 4th November. Tickets £21.50, on sale at 10am Friday 17 June.

Paul Carrack, the ex-Squeeze, Mike and the Mechanics and Roxy Music man returns to Birmingham Town Hall on 12th November for another popular evening of classic hits. Tickets £28.50, on sale now.

For the third year running, Ireland’s best known musical exports the Dubliners have chosen Birmingham Town Hall to play on St Patrick’s night, 17th March 2012 – celebrating 50 years in the business. Tickets £25, on sale at 10am Friday 17 June.
