Sean Percival headlines Comedy All Stars

Sean Percival

Sean Percival

Top local comic Sean Percival will be heading up a night of rip-roaring comedy at The Public on Friday 15 April.

The Dudley born comic, will be joined by BBC new comedy award nominee Ben Schofield and award winning comedian Paul Kerensa in a night compered by Andy Kind.

Sean Percival, an ex-welder whose act is steeped in traditions of the working men’s club circuit, delivers a brand of comedy that steers clear of the surreal and confronts realism in an explosively funny way.  The Black Country dynamo is a festival favourite having performed at the Edinburgh, Glastonbury and Reading Festival and a regular headliner at comedy clubs throughout the UK.

Ben Schofield, performances with rock and roll spirit, producing a dynamic, colourful (and really quite loud) act that is guaranteed to entertain.  The confident Bradford born comic has built a deserved reputation as an exciting and engaging comedian with a key eye for the absurd.

Paul Kerensa, British Comedy Awards Nominee and winner of ITV’s ‘Take the Mike’, is a self confessed nerd whose mastery of comedy is first rate.  Having helped co-write BBC’s Not Going Out and worked on scripts for the BAFTA nominated, Miranda, Paul is no stranger to the big time.  The Cornish comic is renowned for delivering rip roaring one-liners that prove that you don’t have to be edgy to be funny, the brainy comic is as clever as he is amusing.
