Touchwood launches ice-themed bar for Christmas season

Have yourself an icy little Christmas in Solihull.

British actress Michelle Keegan will be joining guests at Touchwood this November to help to welcome the festive season to Solihull.

From 12noon to 2pm on Saturday 22nd November Michelle will be visiting the centre’s brand new Winter Wonderland in Theatre Square to help guests get into the Christmas spirit. Those who come along will be invited to say hello to Michelle and take their picture with her in Touchwood’s seasonal setting.

Following Michelle’s visit, the Winter Wonderland will be transformed into the centre’s new ice-themed bar, complete with frosted Christmas trees, falling faux snow and ice cold drinks. Bringing a slice of the Nordics to Solihull with its cool alternative to festive fun, the bar will offer guests the chance to get into the Christmas spirit by enjoying a relaxing drink in snowy surroundings.

Lucy Burnett, marketing manager for Touchwood, comments: “We are all very excited for the launch of our very first Winter Wonderland bar at Touchwood. Christmas is set to be extra special this year, and what better way to get into the festive spirit than by launching Touchwood’s very own North Pole! With a host of drinks on offer and a yuletide atmosphere like no other, we encourage everyone to come down and celebrate the season with us in snow-laden style!”

The Theatre Square Winter Wonderland Bar will be open during selected hours from the 22nd November until the 14th December. Guests can also enjoy a relaxing shopping experience in Touchwood this Christmas thanks to extended opening hours during December. From Monday 1st December retailers will remain open until 8pm on weekdays and 7pm on Saturdays. From Monday 8th December times will be extended to 9pm on weekdays.
