New venture to provid permanent venue for expansion.
Herbert’s Yard, a dedicated new events space in Longbridge town centre, is now open for business. Operated by multi-award-winning street food pioneers, Digbeth Dining Club, Herbert’s Yard represents their first permanent venue to operate outside Birmingham city centre. After over seven years of bringing the Dining Club’s monthly pop ups to Longbridge, the new permanent venue will deliver year-round events with a core focus on local community and business engagement with activities such as networking and yoga taking place regularly.
Herbert’s Yard (named after Herbert Austin), provides a beautiful new events space which can adapt depending on requirements and is next to the recently enhanced Austin Park in Longbridge Town Centre. Built with sustainable timber and using lighting fittings from the original Car Assembly Building that have been converted to low energy LED.
Supporting the local economy is a priority and suppliers such as Glass House beer and Wine Freedom, both of Birmingham, will be joining guest food suppliers delivering a range of cuisine from around the globe to delight tastebuds. Food options will include vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free, offering an inclusive choice to the widest range of diners possible.

The venue will be available to hire for local community groups and parties, providing a valuable facility for future generations to benefit from in the heart of the town centre. Herbert’s Yard includes a bar and deli, as well as outdoor seating and a wild flower garden for visitors to enjoy all year round.
