Christmas all wrapped up at Warwick Castle

Festive season to get underway in medieval splendour.

No December would be complete without Christmas at the Castle, when a dazzling light trail, twinkling trees and festive flourishes show the castle at its best, creating a magical winter wonderland. Add in Stories with Santa, as well as a beautiful ice skating rink in the shadow of the magnificent castle walls and that’s Christmas all wrapped up.

The illuminated evening light trail has new elements for 2022 and takes visitors on a festive journey through 64 acres of grounds and gardens dressed in thousands of sparkling lights. And the Great Hall is at its most stunning when decorated for the festive season, complete with a 20ft tree.

There’s so much to enjoy for the entire family, including a host of seasonal entertainment, meeting cheery festive characters, browsing the Christmas market stalls and eating delicious food. It’s sure to be Warwick Castle’s biggest ever Christmas at the Castle event.

Day tickets cost from £20 per person when booked in advance. A day ticket to include Stories with Santa costs from £31. A 45-minute ice skating slot on the open-air ice rink costs from £15.50, while the after dark illuminated light trail starts from £15.50. Castle entry and the light trail is from £25.50, and castle entry and skating is from £25.50.

There’s also the chance on selected winter dates in 2022 to make memories that will last a lifetime with a Santa Sleepover at Warwick Castle. You’ll find festive flourishes in the cosy Knight’s Village, including themed evening entertainment. In the morning, wake up to the sound of sleigh bells with your very own elf wake-up call where Santa’s cheerful elves will bring a present for little ones.

Santa Sleepover packages also include Stories with Santa tickets, where you and your family will make magical memories with Santa and Mrs Claus as you hear a story of festive joy.

Santa Sleepovers start from £269 based on two adults and two children, staying in a Woodland Lodge, and includes entry to the castle for two days.
