Streetfood and symphonies

Hockley Social Club and the CBSO present Symphonic Sessions.

Hockley Social Club and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra are teaming up for the first time this autumn. Combining genre-bending live music with delicious street food in Birmingham’s hottest new venue, the first Symphonic Sessions event will take place from 6pm on Thursday 21st October.

Musicians from the world-renowned orchestra will set the tone for a great night out as they invite audiences to kick back in Birmingham’s newest neighbourhood hangout. The perfect evening for the musically curious, audiences can expect genre-bending music fusing contemporary classical, indie and everything in between – from Sufjan Stevens and Sigor Ros to Shostakovich. Plus, DJ sets from local tastemaker Pritt Kalsi, and a great selection of street food from Hockley’s popular vendors.

A new venture from the team behind Digbeth Dining Club, Hockley Social Club is a converted warehouse on Hampton Street that has been transformed into a street food hangout. The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra is one of the world’s most renowned orchestras and the flagship of musical life in Birmingham and the Midlands.

Tickets for Symphonic Sessions go on sale at 6pm on Sunday 26th September costing £15 and include one standard drink. For further information and to book tickets click here.
